Re:Łącz Hackathon
City. People. Artificial Intelligence.

March 6–8, 2026 | Kraków, Zabłocie 20.22
The city meets intelligence — and a solution is born.

An urban hackathon dedicated to Smart City and AI solutions.
Participants work in teams on four areas:

  • Tourism
  • Ecology
  • Mobility
  • Accessibility
Approximately 30 participants participated in the event, working in five teams:
KRK Vision, KaucjApp, NTT, EcoFlow, and Loka Kraków.

All teams reached the finals. The results were as follows:
• 1st place – KRK Vision
• 2nd place – KaucjApp
• 3rd place tied – NTT and Loka Kraków

Briefly about the projects:
• KRK Vision – an application for direct communication between residents and the city to report infrastructure problems
• KaucjApp – a solution supporting the deposit refund system for packaging and improving the circulation of recyclable materials
• NTT – an analytical tool (Google API) for monitoring the occupancy of restaurants and public places in real time
• EcoFlow – a system recommending more eco-friendly routes based on the user's driving style
• Loka Kraków – an intelligent guide creating personalized city routes

During the hackathon, participants were supported by three mentors:
• Urban solutions and Smart City infrastructure
• Process automation, backend, and user flows
• Business strategy, monetization, and pitch preparation

Additionally, I invited a professor from the Krakow University of Technology, who led a lecture and workshop for the participants.
